WSW Football Clinics
The Western Sydney Wanderers are proud to be running a range of Football clinics for this upcoming school holiday period. Players will have a fantastic time developing their football skills in dynamic, inclusive, and high-quality sessions with our fully qualified and experienced coaches.
Powered by Soccer Kickstart, these sessions will focus on proven development systems that follow the Football Federation Australia curriculum as well as building on the knowledge of our Australian and International coaches. All players will receive a unique Wanderers jersey that is only available to attendees of these clinics!
In our beginner and intermediate clinics, most players are commencing or starting to enhance their football journey, therefore our number one goal is for everyone to enjoy the beautiful game the way we believe it should be played — what we call the Wanderers way. Sessions are heavily focused on technique, game understanding, and improving confidence as well as obviously providing a great experience.
Although age is a factor when deciding whether to enroll for an Advanced Clinic, the two most important pre-requisites to make the most out of our Advanced Clinics are:
A strong desire to improve and be intensely coached to play the Wanderers way
A Previous high-level playing experience i.e. currently playing or played division one or higher with the aim to improve
At the end of the clinic, we aim to have your child comfortably perform all four technical components of football - passing, shooting, controlling the ball, and dribbling. In this program, players will go through the most diverse game scenarios further enhancing their decision-making ability and execution of the above skills.
